Press ReleaseEMLab P&K Microbiologist Discovers New Species of Linkosia Fungus, Published in MycotaxonSan Bruno, CA, March 9, 2015 – EMLab P&K, a TestAmerica company and the leading commercial indoor air quality (IAQ) laboratory in North America, announced that Mycotaxon has published a peer-reviewed article authored by Gregorio Delgado, a microbiologist from EMLab P&K's Phoenix microbiology laboratory. The article appears in Mycotaxon, volume 129 (2014) and is entitled "South Florida microfungi: Linkosia longirostrata, a new hyphomycete on paurotis palm." The peer-reviewed article describes and illustrates Linkosia longirostrata sp. nov. from rachides of dead leaves of Acoelorrhaphe wrightii collected in southeastern Florida. The article also discusses similarities and differences with morphologically similar Linkosia species.
